As an active participant in the Ontario solar industry since 2010, David has been involved with a number of organisations tasked with promoting solar in and around Canada. In 2010, he was a founding member of the Ontario Solar Network connecting students and professionals in Ontario to building a stronger industry.
David has been involved with the Emerging Leaders for Solar Energy (ELSE) located in Canada. Since its inception in December 2012, David has held a number of positions which included "Vice-Chair of Campaigns" on it's inaugural Executive Committee, responsible for programs such as the Solar Ambassador Program and promotions of professional development events for students and young professionals under the age of 35. He is now part of the Solar Ambassador Program’s steering committee as an Ex-Officio Board Member. More recently, he joined and later became president of Energy Crossroads Denmark based out of Copenhagen, Denmark. Here David organised and led seminars and workshops connecting professionals and students within the renewable energy and sustainability sectors. David's expertise include:
